 Our fabrication workshop facilities are one of the largest in Northern Australia. It is in close proximity to North Queensland’s major suppliers and other industry related business.
From this base, we have serviced contracts in Australia and many overseas locations. Our origins are in steelwork fabrication and construction. We have a history of projects involving steelwork fabrications in medium to heavy steelwork, pipework and platework.
Our capacity and capabilities are supported with sound engineering expertise and a vast knowledge of industry best practice. Over many years this has allowed us to develop a modern fabrication workshop with heavy lift overhead cranes for heavy fabrication work.
To support our capabilities we have a network of alliances in Australia and overseas that will provide support on specific projects.
Our manufacturing facilities at maximum production has an annual capacity of approximately 2000 tonne of structural steelwork from our beam section and approximately 500/1000 tonne of platework from our plate section.
This can be in the form of tanks, large hoppers bins etc depending on the size of each item. These two sections combine to make our fabrication division.
Our workshop equipment supports heavy plate rolling, submerged arc welding, with overhead cranes and a 1000 tonne brake press for manufacture of large quality steel structures. The following details some of these services.
Steelwork Fabrication
Medium to heavy structural steelwork, heavy pipework, heavy platework, heavy fabricated beams, design and construct retrofits – contractors for plant and equipment modifications and upgrades.
Supplying design work and new materials for production efficiencies, construction services – on-site construction crews, cranage and equipment for installation of plant equipment and steelwork, heavy cylinder rollings – heavy plate rolling for shell replacements of ball/SAG mills, rotary kilns and other heavy walled cylinders, surface protection – In-house and on-site blasting and painting for new or in service structures and tankage.
Jobbing Shop Services
With an extensive range of installed equipment we offer a range of support services to other trades and small work clients, heavy plate rolling, heavy brake pressing, light section rolling, heavy plate guillotining, profile cutting specialized welding – MIG/ TIG, submerged arc welding, coded welding, pressure vessel welding, certified welding inspectors, trommels screens for ball and SAG mills.
We have been manufacturing replacement trommels for more than 25 years for the gold mining and quarrying industries in Australia and overseas.
